TURFIN247

        TURFIN247

Being my own dance manager, I feel was the best job to me. I love networking and being responsible enough, to book my own shows. This job is a lot of hard work, but with help from my crew everything goes a lot smoother. We have to make sure that we will distribute enough money to each dancer, this way people won’t feel unworthy for their hard work. I also make sure that people are informed about emergency practices and performances by calling them every day and making sure that we have a backup dancer in case one of the dance members are out of town or busy with another video shoot.
I can’t tell you how much fun it is, to get paid for something that I enjoy doing. I wasn’t always my own manager; it took two snakes to destroy my group, for me to realize the importance of education. In past experiences we hired people to manage our shows and setup our gigs. When in reality they took our money and split. Leaving out our tips and not telling us everything that we should have known. I learned a lot from those snakes and from now on only we will manager our performances. Some of the daily responsibilities would be to text the other four members in my TURFIN247, dance group and tell them about our next practice. Tell them about our upcoming performances and shows, and just being consistent. In doing this, I have become more organized, patient, flexible, and responsible.
